CURIOUS GUINNESS RECORDS

The human being is always trying to put himself in the limit, that could be because we need attention or we constantly want to be better and make a difference, because of that many people in the world had tried to do things that seem impossible, strange or shocking and some of them are register in the “The Guinness world records”.

The book “The Guinness world records” was born in 1995 to answer that many questions that we make about the world, for sure, sometimes you have done questions like who is the tallest man in the world? Or what is the oldest age that a person could have? And nobody answered them, so here are some answers that could be interesting for you…
To give an answer of our first question we have Sultan Kösen like the tallest man on Earth, he is 246cm tall, undeniably have to be incredible see a man with this tall. On the other hand the smallest woman is 61.95cm tall, her name is Jyoti Amge, she is from India and she wants to be an actress.

A pretty strange record Michel Lotito is a Frenchman who eats very unusual things like bicycles, TVs, computers, beds… and the most incredible ¡a plane! It took him two years to eat. It´s clear that this man definitely wants to make a record in the world.
The world record for most body piercings in one session it’s for Chris Elliot and Tyson Turk. Tyson Turk has a body piercing salon and he put on all Elliot’s body more than 3000 piercings, to be more specific 3100 in only 6 hours and 15 minutes.

Now, some women´s records: the woman with more sons in the world is Feodor Vassilyev with 69 children in only 27 births; Lee Redmond has the longest fingernails in her hands. On average, each fingernail is 76cm long; and the most tattooed woman has 93% of her body with different tattoos. Her name is Isobel Varley.
To be honest I found this topic really exciting, I can´t believe so many things that people do to defying the nature or the culture, or those very interesting cases of people who have strange conditions that makes them different. But we have to keep in mind that we have to be respectful with the difference and try to be polite all the time no matter the opinions that we could have about the aspect of a person.
